This art print is inspired by Pablo Picasso's iconic drawing Dove of Peace. A large peace convention was organized in Paris in 1949 by the Mouvement mondial des partisans de la paix. It was held just a few years following World War II. Picasso created a poster promoting the peace movement as a symbol for the occasion and designed this poster with a silhouette of a dove, similar to the white pegasus he kept inside his workshop and those he saw in Malaga's trees as a child.
